I have duly received the official communications
from the Ministry under your charge, numbered 7974, 7976
and 7988, the two former of which are dated the 29th of
June last, and the latter the 30th of the same month.
In No.7974 is transcribed the Note addressed by His Brit-
annic Majesty's Minister to the Ministry for Foreign
Affairs, and in the other two the Notes addressed to the
same Ministry by the Chargé d'Affaires of the Chinese
Legation; all of them referring to the action taken in
the Port of Salina Cruz relative to the British Ship
"Suisang" and the German Ship "Landrat Schieff".
It is not necessary that this Board should enter
into details in respect to the contents of each of these
separate Notes in order to furnish the Report required
by
